Blast From The Past!!! Who remembers A Different World!

This series has got to be one of my all time favourite comedy shows.  </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This particular episode features the beautiful Tupac, who </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: sans-serif; line-height: 19px;">stars as Piccolo, Lena James (Jada Pinkett) ex boyfriend. This episode was filmed in the early 1990's and Lena's best Friend, Yolanda is rocking a beanie  hat and Doctor Martens,  which is all the rage now. Check out the video</span></span></div>

Blast From the Past Mondays: The Desmond's

OMG....who remembers The Desmond's? The highlight of my Tuesday nights was watching The Desmond's. The show featured the loveable actor Norman Beaton who played Desmond, Shirley his wife, Michael his eldest son, daughter Gloria and Sean the youngest.<br />
<br />
What i loved about this show: it was set in Peckham and it portrayed black families as positive role models, all the children were aspiring to become something, Gloria a fashion writer, Sean wanted to go to university and Michael wanted to become a Bank Manager.<br />

Sorry its been a while since my last post, its been a crazy week. Anyway... theres been so much happening in the world since my last post...RiRi <a href="http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2012/11/26/rihanna-tweets-topless-pics-herself-and-chris-brown-most-annoying-celebrity/" target="_blank">posted </a>topless pics of Chris Breezy and PSY performed with the legend MC Hammer at The 2012 American Music Awards! So I thought it was only right to Mention MC Hammer in today's Blast From The Past post.<br />

I used to look forward to rushing home from school and tuning into channel 4 (before the days of Sky and Virgin ) to watch it. The show aired at time, when the only other black person you'd see on TV was Winston from Eastenders... LOL and was by far one of the best US black sitcoms in the 90's. </span><br>

Who remembers their song</span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">"Shoop"</span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">?? I loved it so much.<br /><br />Salt-N-Pepa formed in 1985 with Sandra Denton, AKA Pepa, soon after adding Deidra Roper, AKA DJ Spinderella. These ladies were strong and weren't afraid to be sexy!</span><br />
