Luptia wins Best Supporting Actress
The 19th annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards concluded, with 12 Years a Slave nabbing the top prize of best picture. The gorgeous award winner Luptia Nyong, won Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of slave girl Patsey in the gritty and moving film. Making her the fourth black woman to win the award for Best Supporting Actress Critics' Choice Movie Awards .
- In 2006, Jennifer Hudson won it for her portrayal of Effie White in "Dream girls"
- In 2009, Monique won it for her portrayal of Mary Lee Johnston in the film "Precious"
- In 2011 Octavia Spencer won the award in for her portrayal of Minny Jackson in the film "The Help."
In my eyes Luptia easily rocked the best dress at the event. She wore a breathtaking custom Calvin Klein Collection ivory silk crepe bandeau dress styled with a Calvin Klein Collection gold box clutch, Paul Andrew custom shoes, and Kimberly McDonald Jewellery.
Check out her dress
