Ok my urban beauties i'm taking you back to the very late 90's, when the Rockfella movement was at its peak and their recording artists were exploding onto the scene left right and centre. They had the likes of Memphis Bleek, Beanie Segal, Freeway and of course AMIL. This lady was one of my favourite female rappers from back in the days and  featured in countless Rockfella tracks such as "Can i get a..", "Hey Papi" and "4 da fam" and she became Rockafella records first lady.

There were hardly any female rappers around at that time and what i personally loved about AMIL was her distinctive sound and her mad SWAG. She later joined the 1999 Hard Knock Life Tour and released her debut solo album, in 2000 and then she disappeared
